USER GUIDE
The use of the site is pretty intutive and you should be able to figure out how to use it (I hope).
A few things that you need you be aware of:
- Since all possible combinations of lamps and ballasts are not valid and even for some valid combinations I do not have test data, a design feature of the menus is that they are designed to be hierarchical. The acceptable values for a given field are derived based on previous inputs. As a user this means that you will have to enter values in the selection forms in a sequential manner and will not be allowed to skip values in fields.
- To limit the length of the hierarchical menus I have created LONG names for the lamps. The lamp names are unique and give you complete information about the lamp. The lamp name comprises several fields
Field 1: Manufacturer Name
Field 2: Lamp Wattage
Field 3: Color Temperature
Field 4: Type of Lamp (SE - single ended, DE - Double Ended)
Field 5: Lamp Instance Number (In case I have multiple lamps the different lamps are numbered 1,2,3.....)
Thus a lamp name AQUALINE BUSHKE 175W 10000K SE 1 is Instance number 1 of an Aqualine Bushke 175W 10000K Single Ended lamp.
